About me

I like to think of myself as a "hermitess" who enjoys the solitude of country living. I am retired and starting writing poetry about nature, woman and spirituality grounded in the joys I reap from the pasture, hills and stream that surround my country home. I am embarking on a very rich time in my life - mid-life and look forward to the shaping and creating of the next chapter in my life.
Interests
Reading, writing, correspondance, my iris garden, growing orchids, my country homestead, re-creating and re-inventing my life.

The story of the Wisteria continued, unfortunately after the fabulous display it just took to it's bed and died, haven't seen any life for 2 years but I have not dug it up now growing a clematis over the bare branches which works very well.

I miss Marie also her space aptly named Toughing Beauty, her photography was so professional and so was her presentation I loved the way she framed her pictures. Her last blog for new year 2008 is still there but no other entries past that.
